It was opened in 1994, and is owned by Ayala Malls.

On an average day, more than 85,000 people visit Ayala Center Cebu, with the
figure increasing to 135,000 on weekends.
Ayala Center Cebu is the commercial, cultural, and political core of Southern Philippines. Located in the middle of Cebu Business Park, Ayala Center Cebu is the region's premier shopping, dining, and entertainment destination, newly
expanded to  provide more rewarding experiences. Embodying the discriminating and distinctive taste of the Cebuanos, it offers only choice experiences for retail and leisure amidst a verdant backdrop. It is only fitting that Ayala Center Cebu's atrium is a seamless indoor and outdoor garden providing a natural retreat.

Ayala Center Cebu, one of the biggest mall destinations here in Cebu finally opened another exciting and new place to venture, The Terraces. As Cebu Holdings President Francis Monera said in a press conference, “We named it The Terraces because one will walk through a terrace-like ambiance that gives you the feel of being in a resort.”
